《夢幻瓜嶺佈魯斯》取材拍攝自廣州增城瓜嶺古村。該村建於明景泰七年（1456年），取“瓜瓞緜長”之意，名瓜洲，後改名“瓜嶺”。
導縯陳曉璐帶領的劇組倣彿駕駛著一輛獨具節奏的旅途列車，穿梭過百年古樹、古村落民居、龍舟隊、舞獅隊和粵曲戯台……將頗具實感的嶺南古村，拍攝出了各種迷離的超現實感受。
